Environmental Monitoring System (EMS)The Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) adds actual weather information to take the impact of local conditions into account during berthing. This makes the ship behaviour better to predict and thereby the berthing operation safer. When the Environment Monitoring System is integrated in iMoor, it enhances other modules. Together with the information provided by the Berthing Approach System the iMoor application software presents a more detailed view of the situation. The following EMS parameters can be added to iMoor: - Current
- Wind speed and direction
- Temperature
- Humidity
| - Visibility
- Air pressure
- Wave height and period
- Tide level
|
 | Weather Station: The Mampaey Weather Station is a compact and lightweight multi-sensor instrument that can measure most essential weather parameters. It is a configurable instrument that can measure wind speed and direction, rainfall, air pressure, temperature and humidity. | | Wave & Tide sensor: The Mampaey concept of wave & tide measurement is designed to comply with the specific field of interest for berthing services which are: - Wave Amplitude
- Wave period
- Tide level
|

| Current sensor: The Current Sensor is a rugged and reliable sensor that offers great flexibility to obtain accurate current measurements. The sensor can be mounted in such a manner that maintenance easily can be done from the shore. |
