Remote Hook Control

In addition to the standard manual release, the mooring hooks can be equipped with a remote release system.
This enables the operator to release the hooks individually or simultaneously in case of an emergency from a distance. (For example from the jetty control room)

The Control System can be operated stand-alone, either by hand and/or pushbuttons installed on the hook assembly or by means of the iMoor® software and network.

The central control also can be operated from multiple positions like portable devices, Pagers, Cell Phones, etc.

An indication whether the hook is open or closed can be transmitted to the remote control panel or visualized by the iMoor® application software. 

When the remote control system is activated the hook is opened by an electric or hydraulic system.
Other remote control configurations like pneumatic release are available upon request.
